Shipping and Delivery for Bakery Products (Only ship within the State of New York)
Shipping & Delivery
We use the best method possible to ensure your goodies arrive when you choose. Please check your addresses carefully. We cannot extend our guarantee to orders for which we are given an incorrect address. If you have any questions about shipping, please contact us at orders@castlesofpastries.com.
Arrival Dates & Timely Delivery
To ensure that you receive your goods as soon as possible, we generally utilize the United States Postal Service and UPS. Once products have been shipped, customers should receive their goods within two to four business days. Our product deliveries are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Under the New York State Home Processor Exemption Law, home bakers are only authorized to sell home processed foods within the State of New York. Therefore, Castle of Pastries, Inc. is prohibited from shipping bakery products (that are to be consumed) to customers outside the State of New York.
If you order one of our bakery products (that are to be consumed) with the expectation of it being shipped outside the State of New York, your order will be declined.
By placing an order with us you agree to the following shipping conditions:
- Once your package is delivered to the post office they are in USPS or UPS control until they reach your shipping destination.
- Regardless if you are an individual or a company, it is your responsibility to ensure that there is a person to receive your package at your shipping destination.
- Castle of Pastries, Inc. is not responsible for:
- Shipping delays with USPS or UPS.
- Delays because of the weather.
- Incorrect shipping information (e.g. incorrect mailing address).
Deliveries to Corporations, Hospitals, Hotels, and Schools
When delivering orders to these types of addresses, we guarantee delivery to the mailroom or receiving department at the location. It is then the responsibility of this department to deliver the package to the correct recipient. This may cause delays as the mailroom or receiving department does not guarantee delivery within a given period. Freshness Recommendations
Because Castle of Pastries, Inc.’s products do not contain preservatives, our products are best enjoyed within 5-7 days after receiving them or freeze immediately.
Local Pickup
Bring your confirmation email when you come to collect your order and wear a mask. For safety, please always wear your mask when picking up your order. Please wait outside on the curbside for pickup. Please give us a call and then we can bring your order out to you. Obviously, there is no pickup fee. 😊
